ROSE STORY FARM STORE

When you visit the farm, be sure to stop into our store. All items are handpicked for their distinct and beautiful rose associations and characteristics. This is the perfect place to find anything and everything related to the rose!  Most importantly, a huge selection of gardening supplies – pruning shears, gloves, and accessories – is available.  These will all help you take care of your roses in the best and most beneficial manner.  Antiques and contemporary vases, fragrances, clothing, farm souvenirs, plus black rose petal tea and our own rose waters, all made from roses here at the farm, also line the shelves.

 If you are on a tour, the store is open 15 minutes before the tour starts and remains open for 30 minutes to an hour after lunch. Otherwise, please call (805) 566-4885 to schedule an appointment to visit our shop.

TOUR GIFT CERTIFICATES

Looking for a gift for that special someone? How about a gift certificate for our popular rose tour and picnic lunch? Tours are held Thursdays and Saturdays, April through the end of November. Each tour is led by one of our in-house professionals and focuses on the many facets of roses in the garden, from their unique fragrance and beauty to individual microclimates and cultivation requirements. Join a group of other rose lovers or make special arrangements to schedule a private tour with a group of friends or family. We guarantee a relaxing day among the roses in beautiful Carpinteria, California! All tours should be booked in advance by phone or fax. Sorry, no drop-ins.

ROSE OF THE MONTH CLUB

Give the gift of roses to you, or to someone special, with our new Rose of the Month Club. Beginning in April, twenty roses – either a mixed bouquet or single color of your choice – will be delivered locally to Carpinteria, Santa Barbara Goleta, or Ventura or shipped per your instructions each month through November. With over 120 varieties to choose from, there is always something very special available. Overnight shipping outside of Santa Barbara is via Federal Express, for which a supplement is charged. When picked up directly from the farm for 8 months of 20 stem bouquets (local pick up) : $425 (a 25% discount off the retail value  of $70 per 20 stems)  Add local delivery: $545 total for 8 bouquets and door to door delivery.. Add domestic, overnight Federal Express delivery: $695 for 8 bouquets shipped via overnight Federal Express including box, ice & packing.   

ROSE GARDEN DESIGN & MAINTENANCE

A great gift for the new rose enthusiast, we are now offering rose garden design. Give us your particular wishes in terms of rose color and category, plot size and dimensions. After our consultants review the overall plan with you, we will select and plant the roses. Initial soil amendment and fertilizer will be included. Irrigation systems and long term garden maintenance is available at additional cost. Prices begin at $250, depending on project size (roses not included).
