Generous Gardner
This variety still being tested. Shipping clients ask for tighter cuts, expect some shattering. This color is unlike any other. This is the "barely blush" color people have been asking for.

Golden Celebration
One of our favorite roses ever. Rich golden yellow with a citrusy fragrance. These stems are long lasting and can have multiple blooms on a stem. Actually one stem can equal a lovely arrangement.

Heaven on Earth
Heirloom
Magenta buds open to tones of lilac & lavender. Great cutting rose, each stem can have large individual blooms or clusters of smaller blooms. Great plant, but it’s the fragrance that gets you... some say ripe raspberries, others say wine and apples!

Honey Dijon
Yes, the color of Dijon or honey mustard. There are tips of hot pink in the bud, but this opens large and sturdy. Ships well and great vase life. We have lots of plants, but more orders than we can service at this time. If you need this color, put your order in early, it’s first come…

Hot Cocoa
A highly fragrant floribunda from Tom Carruth. The color is hard to describe. We say it’s a deep russet or brown with orange & violet tones. How is that even possible? You will have to see for yourself. A winner in our book and a delightfully easy rose to care for in the garden.

Iceberg
The workhorse of whites... We have been searching for a pure white rose that ships well and ‘holds.’ All this time, it’s been right in front of our eyes. Plants must be kept under control, i.e. skilled gardening required to clean/cut/prune. But, each plant delivers hundreds of blooms CONSTANTLY. What’s not to like?

Intrigue
A fragrant floribunda with plum purple flowers grouped atop virtually thornless canes. Blooms fade to a deep grey purple. Color unlike any other. Not a terrific plant in the garden, but unbeatable in the vase!

Jean Giono
Vibrant rose, starts bright yellow with superb tangerine colored veining throughout. When it is fully open, it is orange! Lots and lots of petals and the plant is disease resistant, and vigorous! The spicy fruit fragrance will delight, but honestly, it’s the color... there is really nothing like it.

Julia Child
Julia Child was ‘family’ here at Rose Story Farm. She had always been a yellow rose aficionado and when she decided she would like her own rose, she wanted yellow of course (just like butter)! She chose this perfect yellow bloom from our test garden. It fades to a warm butter tone and some even say it smells like butter! We think it smells like licorice, but clearly, it’s all in the nose of the beholder. When hybridizer Tom Carruth agreed to name this flower after the famed personality, we created an entire garden dedicated to this rose and of course, to it’s namesake. The plant is a frequent bloomer. In 2006 Julia Child was the winner of the AARS Award.

Koko Loco
There is nothing like this neutral, tan rose. Koko Loco blends well in the sepia toned palettes, sherbet colors, and well… pretty much everything! We can’t get enough of these! Typically we see multiple blooms per stem early in the season.

Lady Emma Hamilton
This is a very unusual color for a rose, particularly an English variety. They begin a deep dark red with a little orange. When fully open they are a tangerine color on the inside and yellow/orange on the outside. She’s a newer variety from David Austin. Disease resistant, great strong fragrance and gorgeous in both the garden and the vase.

L.D. Braithwaite
The brightest of the crimson roses in the David Austin collection. Very little fragrance but lasts well in a vase. Blends well with reds, burgundies, or purples.

Leonardo Da Vinci
The Leonardo da Vinci rose is a midsized floribunda rose with large clusters of a medium toned salmon pink. It has virtually no fragrance! It has been singled out here at the farm as the ONLY rose that qualified for 1-800-flowers… ie it lasted 10 days in a vase!!!! Spectacular life on this guy. Gorgeous shrub in the garden, just wish we could still acquire the plants to sell!

Lichfield Angel
An English Mush rose, Lichfield Angel is beautiful at all stages. It is a large, creamy white flower with multiple blooms per stem. The plant can grow in poor soils and maintains a light fragrance.
Love Song
We trialed this babe last year with huge success. There is simply nothing like it. Huge sprays of the perfect lavender. Disease resistant, ships well, holds unlike any other lavender rose. This color is coming on, place your orders early.
