Mother's Day at the Montecito Country Mart

Rose Story Farm partnered with Montecito Country Mart for a Mother's Day Workshop. Over a dozen moms and their children of every age participated in this fun event. Each pair received an apron, sheers, vases, ribbons and buckets full of Rose Story Farm garden-grown roses to create one-of-a-kind arrangements. Guests were treated to champagne and lemonade as well as tasty delights from Merci To Go. Space.NK.apothecary provided the perfect gift bags as a special treat for mom.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share in the gardening experience with the young ones. Rose Story Farm owner, Dani Hahn gave an arrangement demonstration, reminding folks to start with the flowers. Greenery can come later, if there's room. Many of the garden roses can have 5-10 blooms per stem! Dani also gave some tips and tricks for how to extend the life of the arrangement. All of the creations were stunning. Some guests even decided to make two or three!

Rose Story Farm hopes to hold more of these workshops in the future! Stay tuned for a Father's Day event. Moms, sons, daughters, grandsons, and grandduaghters are all encouraged to sign up and make a great arrangement for pop!
